Should an emergency transportation situation arise before school begins or after school has closed for the day and cannot reach your school principal, please contact the Greenbrier County School Bus Garage at 304-647-6475 or 304-667-1914. Please note that the after-hours transportation emergency phone number has been updated to 304-667-1914.
Smoot Elementary is releasing at 10:15 a.m. due to the power outage. If you need to make other arrangements call 304 392 2152.

GCS reminds families that students will be released from school two hours early on Thursday, April 25, to allow for Faculty Senates.
Greenbrier County Schools was one of the first counties in WV to offer a technology device for every student 15 years ago. GCS students in grades 5-12 receive take-home devices to increase educational access at home.

Our Universal Pre-K program serves approximately 300 students per year. Each classroom has Pre-K, Head Start, and Pre-K special needs students. Apply online at greenbriercountyschools.org.
