SCHOOL SECURITY UPDATE
Local law enforcement has been notified of threats directed towards high schools in the county. A Homeland Security investigation suggests that these threats may be part of a larger trend affecting schools across West Virginia and other states. At this time, we have no reason to believe that these threats are credible. Out of an abundance of caution, we will be increasing security measures in our schools over the next few days.
On Patriot Day, observed as the National Day of Service and Remembrance, we commemorate the 2,977 people who lost their lives in the 2001 September 11 attacks. #patriotday

With Nutrislice, you can view nutrition information for each food, including Carb Counts. Greenbrier County Schools provides free school meals to all students. New student enrollment events will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, at Lewisburg Elementary School and Wednesday, July 24, at Greenbrier West High School. New enrollees should bring the following information:
- Official state-issued birth certificate (not a copy)
- immunization record
- copy of health check exam
- copy of most recent dental exam
- two proofs of residency
- social security card of child
- relevant custody order, if applicable
