Join us this evening, Tuesday, March 4, from 5-7pm for an after-school family night at Western Greenbrier Middle School featuring Clay2Go, an interactive exhibit of science and math activities created by the Clay Center in Charleston. Activities include bridge building, creating circuits, exploring lasers, magnets, energy, and simple machines.
Most students can explore all activities in 30-45 minutes. Activities are best for 2nd-8th grade, but students of all ages are welcome! All students must be accompanied by an adult.
Alderson Elementary students and staff are excited to spend the week celebrating Read Across America!! Friday was their “kick-off celebration” and they started the day with “DEAR” (drop everything and read)! That afternoon they had a birthday celebration for Dr. Seuss who would have been 121!
