Miss Rose and Mrs. McCallister’s 3rd grade classes at Alderson Elementary completed Leaf Projects with their families. Students collected leaves, identified them, and then mounted and labeled them in multiple ways!

Ms. Santos' Kindergarten class at Alderson Elementary had "bat day" last week! They transformed our room into a bat cave, read Stella Luna and learned all about bats! They used flash lights and glow sticks while doing their work!

The theme is a reminder that by staying drug-free, you are sending a message to yourself and others about how much you value yourself, your overall health, your community, and your future. Mrs. McCallister's 3rd grade class at Alderson Elementary completed fire safety plans at home with their parents as part of Fire Safety Week! Their plans had 2 ways out of their room and a meeting place as well. They also practiced fire drills with their families!
