Greenbrier County Schools (GCS) will host Pre-K & Kindergarten registration on two dates and locations for children four years old before July 1, 2024, for preschool and five years old before July 1, 2024, for kindergarten. Students currently enrolled in a GCS Pre-K program are automatically enrolled in kindergarten in their home school district; therefore, parents of GCS Pre-K students will not need to attend a registration session.

Mrs. McCallister's 3rd grade students at have been busy keeping their classroom and the hallways decorated lately! Students made Origami stars with some paper that was passed down by Mr. Mack Dolan, which makes them even more special.
Planning is underway for the 2024-2025 school calendar! Calendar options and a planning guide are available at https://www.greenbriercountyschools.org/page/school-calendar-planning. GCS will host a public forum regarding the calendar on February 13 at 5:30 p.m. and March 12 at 5:30 p.m. at the Kyle & Ann Fort Arts & Sciences Building on the New River CTC campus. The 2023-2024 school calendar will be presented for approval at the regular meeting of the board of education on March 12.
